Unlimited Labor Solutions, LLC dba Unlimited Labor seeks Senior Accountant – needed for permanent, full-time employment.
Assist with optimizing accounting processes, monthly closing processes, accounts payable, customer billing, and collections; ensure business transactions are recorded to the correct GL accounts and reported accurately and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S. (U.S. GAAP) for two legal entities and one trust entity; refine and implement an improved capital distributions process; assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing detailed financial variance analysis and reporting as part of the monthly reporting package; research and analyze expense variances, providing insights and recommendations to management; automate and improve existing processes and procedures; create internal control procedures; maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with accounting standards; perform general ledger activities, month-end, and year-end close processes and reporting; work with cross-functional, multi-entity teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions; support billing team with customer billing and collections processes, as needed Support with intercompany billing, intercompany accrual estimates and intercompany payments; and support the financial due diligence of potential acquisitions from discovery to closing the deal.
Requirements:
Position requires Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting or related field and 2 years of Accounting experience in the following: Month-end and year-end close process and reporting using U.S. GAAP; Capital distributions and contributions process; General ledger account mapping and journal entries reconciliation; Utilizing ASC 606 revenue recognition and accrual accounting principles; Implementing automation techniques, and internal control procedures; Intercompany transactions across multiple entities; Utilizing Advanced Excel modeling and formular functions, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IFERROR, and INDEX/MATCH for financial variance analysis; Financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
